Kodiak/Springbar outdoor drying time

I really want one of these, but has anyone tried to dry them outside at home in humid weather? How long did that take? I don't have anywhere indoors to set one up, and I live on the East Coast where the humidity is often brutal. Seems like I would never get one to dry out. I guess I could go with a polycotton tent for faster drying.

I noticed in another post that you're in MD. What part of MD? We're in NoVA and we have a Kodiak and we have no concerns over drying our tent (on the rare occasions that we have to dry it before storing). It's only humid a couple months out of the year (at least here in VA) and even then, it's a non-issue for us. We love our tent and haven't had any problems with it.

I'm in South Central PA, have the Kodiak tent and it seems to rain on me on the last day of every trip! I'm always packing it up in the damn rain!

Drove it back 11 hours from Kentucky and just this weekend 8 hours from Vermont , both times soaked and folded in the back of my TJ.

I just hung it up in my garage and it dried out overnight each time without any problems whatsoever. In fact this last time, I was lazy and left it folded up wet for two days before I dried it out.

It's a robust unit made with quality canvas that is treated - you won't have any problems with it drying out in the Northeast .

You can't beat these tents for weatherability, resistance to the elements and durability if you ask me.

Good luck!
