So when are they gonna make a bigger one?

The ability to carry junk and it would make the ultimate overland bike... just carry along a big solar panel. There are fwere moving parts, less that can go wrong...

Maybe one day I'll get another bike... :(

... suffering from bike withdrawals right now... sold my '78 Bobber last week.

I'm on board for sure. I wonder if it would be considered a motorcycle??? Could it be considered an electric bicycle?? Man if so I found my new commuter.

Most likely a grey area...

Access is getting harder and harder, if we were silent, would give people less to complain about. They would still complain, it would be less though.:ylsmoke:

The article KTM touches on that slightly.

Now, with this zero-emission, noise-free motorcycle, a consumer may be able to practice their sport in areas that were previously off limits due to noise restrictions.

Cool. About time, too. They have had this thing for military use for some time now, so I understand. It will be interesting to see it in use on the roads.

This is a really cool concept, but nothing I'm interested in purchasing until they start increasing the run time. Who is going to take their bike out for just an hour? You'd need to have a giant solar panel just to be able to recharge it in less than a day.

I guess its fine if you are just commuting around or maybe tracking it, but I wouldn't want to ride it out to a trail and get stuck out there when the power runs out. :(

Can't beat good ol' gasoline for energy storage.:ylsmoke: If you think about it, petroleum is stored solar energy, and naturally occuring. Who knew our vehicles are solar powered and natural.
