Hi All!

Like many others...I have been collecting cool pictures of Toyota Land Cruisers for years off the net (not to mention pics of my 3 beasts...I finally hatched an clever and fun plan to post them along with anyone else's photos and stories about Toyota land Cruisers they want to submit and share. I also hope that knowledgeable folks can chime in and identify certain rigs pics that have no info and years associated with them

I purchased http://landcruiseroftheday.com and set up a Wordpress blog hooked to a Pinterest page & Tumblr page for videos and other 4 x 4 stuff.

Please check it out if you get time and feel free to submit 3-5 pics and any details you want to share about your Toyota Land Cruiser and I will post them in order as I recove them each day. Links to videos, Expeditions and builds are cool as well!

Any and all feedback about the site is welcome!

BTW...I hope this is OK to post here...if not...let me know and I can move it elsewhere...working on a modest Tacoma build to post here on Expedition Portal soon as well!!!

:ylsmoke: That "tumblr" section is a separate link for anything that's true hardcore 4WD...if you love off roading... you gotta dig what they were doing with the Camel trophy series back then regardless of what vehicles they used!...I personally wouldn't own a Land Rover (hence why I own 2 two Toyota land cruiser and a 3rd gen Tacoma 4x4) but if you take the time to watch that video....it's killer.... they beat the **** out of those rigs and it's fun to watch!

I promise...the next video I post will be a few Land Cruisers favorites...BJ40's tearing up the mud in South America!!:safari-rig:

No....not at all... it's not ever going to be a technicle site or a forum..it's not a competition...Just a simple way to post some cool land cruiser photos I have collected over the years in a simple blog format for people to enjoy...I thought that Land Cruiser folks might dig some personal short stories in a condensed one page format.....just a scrapbook of sorts....not everyone loves searching through a million of forum posts to find some Land Cruiser stories and data.:sombrero:

Sounds cool but to be honest there are dozens (or more) of folks doing nearly similar things on Facebook. I realize FB isn't for everyone but it is far easier for many/most than hitting up a separate website just to look at pics and read a short story? Between Mud, Expo and the many other LC related forums, I don't know that I would have any free 'internet' time to seek out another site? That said, I'm a whore for all things Cruiser and I'll check it out as time allows.

Thanks for the positive and constructive thoughts...I get it...I'm out on Mud , Tacoma World and here as well....lots of places to hang out and get cool info...

I guess more than anything I'm just having fun messing around with it for my own enjoyment...and hopefully some other will dig it as well...have a good one!
