Land Cruiser problem

My 100 got in some water the other day and now is hesitant to start. I'm not sure what I need to look for. I turn the key, it waits a second, then starts. Not like it was before. Any ideas?

Air box and filter were completely dry. I think the battery may have gotten wet, if that would help anyone.

I'm just worried it's something serious. What sort of checks should I go through? That's what I get for listening to a buddy days before I am hoping trade it.

I was really hoping to get some help with this...

Turn ignition full on, nothing, battery and lights all on. Let key fall back just a bit from the position of full on and she cranks. Anyone had this problem?

You might want to give some better details about the incident other than "got in some water." Was it over the hood? How long was it submerged for?

I've been lurking for a while and have yet to see anyone local to me yet so your thread and location raised an eyebrow.

You're trading it? As into a dealer or to a friend?

I've been searching for an 80 or 100 LC for a while. If it's not for sale I might be able to help diagnose the issue.

The trade would be to a dealer, buddy trading isn't my thing. Could ruin friendships if things were to go south. It's is for sale, i just havent actively been selling it because of university classes and
Midterms.

Well, shoot me a PM with your contact info and I'll get in touch with you. At the least I can help figure out what's wrong with it! Eyeballs on are better than words on a forum sometimes.
