Leica M3 Repair Questions

Perhaps this isn't the best forum for the questions I have but it is one of the few that I trust for good information so hear it goes:

I have a derelict Leica M3 in need of a full overhaul and am wondering if anybody else has been in this situation and who they ended up sending the camera to for the work.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Everyone I know with classic Leicas sends them to http://www.yyecamera.com and has nothing but praise to relate.

gl getting some of the parts. a good friend had to get a junk m3 camera to repair his m3 because parts arent all there to be gotten.

That's true if you want to use original parts but there are still companies that produce new parts for them to this day.

I've got a really early production M3 that has a bit of a light leak through the shutter curtains. When I researched it a few years ago, most of the consensus on a few leica boards and lists was that sherry krauter was a good person to goto for repairs ( http://www.sherrykrauter.com/repairs.php ). I had contacted her and gotten a quote, but as I haven't shot film since I stopped working at one lab or another here in LA part time It's been low on my list of things to get fixed..
