Although I grew up using Coleman lanterns and still enjoy them when I need light but my primary light now are LUCI or Luminaid augmented by some cheap headlamps. I have really gotten fond of the green light on my headlamp for night time. But once the dishes are done it is campfire time.

I found several great variants on the biolite site, though I'm thinking about addressing the biolite customer service for details. I should say, that their portable lanterns look promising and I'm interested in buying one. Does anyone know this company?
