Here are some of the final projects that I was very pleased with. One class had their final critique today, the other class will have theirs in mid-July.

Beca Acosta - Summertime in the 70's

Alejandra Barreto - One Soldier's Experience In Afghanistan

Mike Tenney - Explaining Radiation's Wavelengths

Phil Cannon - Some Dreams Don't Come True

Ahmed Sahagun - Looking Back At The Roots

Jonna Oberhansley - My Dad The Cow Cop

Kassie Lowry - I Didn't Attend The Funeral

Thank you SO much for all the hard work!

The other class had their final critique today. I encourage you to look at the following final projects that were turned in.

I am a strong proponent of visual story telling. It is one thing I expect my students to learn. This crop I had during this summer did an excellent job of it.

Jenisse Decker - The Life of a Danbo

Christine Barlow - My Sweet Older Brother, Brian

Amanda Tillotson - Friends and Their Collections

Matt Haynie - Cocaine Guy

Amy Welling - Flaws

Rebecca Tolman - Passion For Horses

Nicole Lauret - Daddy's Little Girl

Tyler Collet - Field Of Dreams

My favorite photograph of the critique. Dripping with feeling and emotion. It doesn't get much more real than this.

I hope you have gotten a little insight from sharing the blog here on ExPo as to how I have taught the class. I also hope you took advantage of the assignments and pushed yourself to learn a little more about your camera, yourself and how to tell stories visually.

Thanks for sharing those Michael. Really well done and I enjoyed the Danbo series in particular.:) How cool to be able to teach the fundamentals in this manner, and it looks like you do a great job.
