LiquidLogic VersaBoard (SOT/SUP hybird)

I've got a chance to score a lightly used LiquidLogic VersaBoard which is a sort of a hybird sit on top/stand up board.

In deciding over a standard SUP AND factoring in my teen kids using it: I see the plusses as the versatility of the design (sit, stand, carry stuff) & ruggedness (dad-I dropped the SUP, whoops I hit a rock, I left it in the sun) over a typical SUP...that said, the weight (53#) and paddle performance have me wondering?

Anyone have one or used one?

I have used one a couple of times. I mostly paddle whitewater and have paddled on a few mild rivers. It's a great board that is very stable,easy to maneuver and my next move is to paddle it down class III in the spring. You will love it.
