LN2 Diff skid plates

Hi!
I was wondering if there would be any takers to crowdfund some skid plates for our diffs? I would think a galvanised circular steel design as below would be in order to help offset some of the axle weight, I think there would have to be some sort of axle support "arms" on the wheel prop shafts...

I'm not sure how necessary this is? The Mercedes axle cases are very strong, and are a considerable distance form the ground due to the tyre size. I've never heard of anyone damaging them during travels. In my opinion, skid plates would be more beneficial under the radiator (which is exposed during approach of an obstacle), and the fuel tank, which is weak and exposed.

Hey, I think you can still order the factory ones. I looked into doing it but it is still on my wishlist.
