Long range fuel tank

It would be easier to get an auxiliary tank put in the spare tire location. It can be filled from the same filler, and have the option of being directly connected to the engine or into the main tank. I will soon be adding a 20 gallon version of this to my 99 4runner... I will post my results after some testing. I will be getting this done for $1000, aux setup, with a switch inside to control transfer, with a full return line to save my stock workings. This will be a custom fab job, aluminum, with a steel skid plate under it for protection. If you are looking for resources for this kind of fab work, talk to the guys down at your local race tracks... they do custom gas tank fabrication all the time, and can probably do it for about the same price as this tank.... that may not even fit your rig properly...

Good luck,:smiley_drive:

Any link to the type of shops you mentioned? Need some info to start search. Thanks!

Orbit One Race Fab, cantact Lance Stahnke, 214-205-3161... This guy knows his stuff... he also custom made a rear bumper fit for the apocolypse for me. He is located in Cresson, south of Ft. Worth. If you don't live in the DFW area he may not be an option, since he usually takes his time and does things right.
