Looking at an '87 4-Runner

Finally made it to Hawaii and I'm looking at a few older 4-Runners to bomb around the island in.
Found an '87 4cyl 5spd for about $3900. Any problem areas I should be aware of?

Rust in the frame is the thing I would be concerned with. Real bad about rusting out just before it starts to go up to go over the rear axle if in a salt enviroment.

The 3.0 V6 is junk. Stick with the 22re. It will last a LOT longer. Check the idler arm and drag link for bends. Other then that they are stout little trucks.

Thanks for the feedback. One that I was looking at was sold and the other one is on a different island, so its back to the drawing board...
