Ya but it will quite a while before that $1600 light becomes a real threat to any of the decent HID's

One shop I visited said that people are just putting them in the low beams.

HID's take a few minutes to come up to full brightness too.
With good HID lows, you rarely need your highs...

I absolutely mean that.
And that's why I don't have HID headlights....

I mounted the HID aux lights last night.
Boy howdy!
Definitely can't run those on the street...

I'm seriously thinking of doing the 7" LED headlight or Cibie conversion now. The stock headlights are pathetic.

yea, my junk got new housings with the HID headlights. Properly aimed they don't blind oncoming cars, but when I come up behind a car - LOOK OUT because I'm tall and they go right into the rear window....that part cannot be helped no matter how well aimed they are.
