Looking for an LR4 in the Santa Cruz/South Bay to check out??

Hey Guys,

My beloved Lr3 HD got totaled and I'm thinking about replacing it with an Lr4. I've never actually driven one and there's not any posted locally. Curious if someone in the Santa Cruz or South Bay area would be up for having truck show and tell time? I'm hoping to find a 2012 or later with the updated timing chain tensioner, Vision Assist and HD (although this wouldn't be a deal breaker). I'm also curious about the 2014+ trucks with the SCV6. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the help,

Scotty

I have a 2013 LR4 with HD, but am up in the Sac area. I’d be happy to help after we get back from Baja! (In our LR3)

I can helo with any questions, the L319 is my fave LR platform (so far ).

You could have your local Carmax bring one in to test drive.

Nevermind. There’s only one right now.

There is a Land Rover school in Carmel, might be worth a day trip as you could try out their course--i'd guess they still have LR4's in their fleet.
It's a fun day/afternoon in the hills that's well set up to help you figure out what those vehicles do well.
