looking for lift help E250 Camper van.

So I just purchased a 1995 E250 Coachman Class B. It is a really clean van with the 5.8L motor with super low miles.

I looked around for 4X4 but they were out of my price range. I do want a little more lift on the front and rear to help me on the
fire-roads and mild dirt roads but nothing too crazy. I figured I would ad a 2" block in back and maybe an ad-a-Leaf. The front is where I need some advise. I was talking with a guy and he said a 1" spring spacer would lift it 2" and wouldn't need modifications the the suspension other that adjustments.

I really don't have the cash for a full on front suspension job ( and this one just had all new part put on) and a certainly can't afford the 4x4 conversion at this time.

here is a pic of what i am starting with:

I also took a look at Aluminess web site and am going to pick up the side ladders and surf racks. those will be easy but I am unsure if the voyager roof rack will work.

A 1 inch spacer will not lift it 2 inches. The right replacement coil springs will give you 2 inches. 2 inches of lift will require an alignment, including camber and caster. Anything more than 2 inches will require different pivot brackets or bent I-Beams.

I put a 2"spacer, 4 degree alignment bushings and a detroit locker on my E350 and have not had any problems. Not ideal for me since my last van was 4x4, but will do until I can afford to make it 4x4.

Not sure if it would work but Camburg makes a sweet lift for 2wd E series vans. Goodlooking rig btw!

any source for the larger springs? I assume I can have them made but I quick internet search came up with stuff for the F250 but not E250?
