There was a photojournal done by a few guys on motorcycles (bmw's IIRC) that I found a year or so ago. I can't seem to find it any more.
They crossed a good bit of Africa, encountering everything from land mines to mud flats...
It was 20+ pages long, very well done. I was going to show it to someone but can't find the link any more. Couldn't find it on Google any more either.
