Looking to join the Excursion Club

I really want my next vehicle to be an excursion. I have one local to me that looks in good shape, and is in my price range right now, but has 290k on the odometer. Is that too many miles for a diesel excursion? Does this sound like a good starting point, or hold out for something lower mileage? Stats on truck below.

2004 Ford Excursion Limited
290,000 miles
6.0 was replaced 90-100,000 miles ago
New motor is bulletproofed and studded
Has all maintenance records for all repairs and modifications
Comes with:
Custom roof rack and ladder
TJM snorkel
SCT tuner
Chrome rhino guard
Needs new a/c line (rear a/c doesn’t work so well).

Hold out for a 7.3. The 6.0 is a good motor if all is done right but still not as reliable, that one has been tuned, and not as good resale.
