Looking to TRADE for our mint classic '66 Daimler-Benz Unimog
Rare find!!
1966 Daimler-Benz Unimog 404 ambulance camper conversion. Original owner imported from Germany in 2001, and sold it to the person that we bought if from a few years later. It has ridiculously low mileage (40K) and original engine and rack. Runs great, recent upgrades; 2 brand new Mercedes-Benz fuel tanks, fuel lines and fuel pump.
6 speed manual runs great no mechanical issues all original parts and barely driven over the years (it stayed parked in a garage for the majority of its life)
Previous owner converted rear adding solar panel, batteries and inverter, propane stovetop and electric refrigerator/flooring/lighting/sink and water storage/
Unfinished projects are lighting in rear, original gauges in dash, backup camera.

We absolutely LOVE this toy but are looking to build our inventory that is more geared towards those with less expereice with off-road trucks. We are interested in:
Toyota Tacoma, Tundrus, 4-Runners
4Wheel campers (slide in to fit a Dodge Ram 2500)
Airstream campers (shorter towable like a Bambi)
Or pitch us what you got we'll listen!

Wow !
Insanely big tyres. I dont expect it goes offroad much or even turns sharp corners.
They are GoodYear Military Tires, AT-2A. This was a military ambulance made as an industrial application, so it's just a beast in general. And yes, it has been off-road it lives in the Eastern Sierras...turns on a dime actually!!

Where is this located (CA)?
What do you estimate it's value as or what is it insured for (price required for forum)?
It is located in Bishop, California. The estimated value is approximately $35k (antique vehicles are difficult to price but there are comps so we made an educated guess).
