Lost Coast, CA

Just completed a sweet camping trip to the Lost Coast of CA. Fishing and scenery were fantastic.

No mud but lots of rain. We camped on the beach just beyond the high tide mark. Woke up Monday morning to 7 vultures eating a dead seal. Kinda brutal but hey, thats nature.

Small world. You merged in front of me in Willits at the northbound merge by Burger King. I remember your trailer and rig. Usal is a fantastic place but you can run into some serious yahoos sometimes. Hope you had fun.

Willits is a thriving metropolis... LOL.
The silver perch were running so the kids and I had a blast.

I thought access to the beach was closed? is that black sand beach? cool M416 trailer too! I have a post WWll 1/4 ton civilian Bantam trailer.

Thank you for the complement. Lots of time and energy went into the M416 to get it into a usable/ reliable condition.

THe Bantam trailers are cool too.

Your right, beach access to Black Sands Beach is closed...the pictures were taken in Shelter Cove.
