LR3 HSE HD Arnott Bilstein Front Air Shocks/ Nitto G2's rubbing

In the last 3000 miles I started running Arnott Bilstein front airshocks and Nitto Terra G2 285/60/18's, love them but they are rub pretty bad at normal height when getting onto the highway to the point where it seems abnormal. I've also noticed a significant drop that I don't believe should be so harsh when going down hill and making a right or left turn to the point that I worry about it now. I don't remember this ever happening with the stock air suspension that was replaced because they were leaking.

Anyone else have this problem?

Could this be a defect in my struts / shocks? Are they a little "weaker" than stock?

A result of my decisions to go as big as possible on tire size?

Just dont seem right. Not the rubbing so much but the sudden drop. No other mods that affect weight have been added to the vehicle other than a 60lb roof rack.

Thanks ya'll

FWIW, I also run Arnott Bilstein struts with Nitto G2 tires, but in 265/65R18 and have no running whatsoever.
