LR3 Tow bar

Guys I have a 2006 V8 that came without the naff LR tow hitch and I need to source an effective alternative.

My D2 was fitted with a 2” receiver tow bracket sourced in the US and this was great as it allowed me to easily swap between Nato and Pin type trailers.

Is there anything similar available for the D3? What would you recommend?

When I looked into before I was keen on getting a Mitch hitch but I never heard back from them.

There's been a lot of discussion on these. Here is one thread worth reading through. I've finally decided to engineer something to sell as a reasonable priced alternative to the expensive LR ones. Not sure when that will be ready.

Folks have had good luck with ebay, various LR classifieds on picking up the ones owners took off the vehicle to sell for extra cash before they sell them (hint: stop doing that).

You might also consider a reese hitch, commonly available at a hitch world or something like that.
