LR3 - what's this light for?

Suspension. I think it means it suspects your are bottomed out on something and Extended Mode is available. If you put your foot on the brake and push up on the suspension switch, it should give you another couple of inches of lift. In theory, that would allow you to drive off whenever you are snagged on. There is another mode also, called Super Extended Mode. I forget the actual numbers, but it’s something like a total of 4” of lift above standard raised offroad height. It makes your rig look like it’s on stilts, but there is Zero compliance left in the shocks. It’s quite rigid in ride quality at that height!

That icon is telling you that you are in Offroad height, about 2” above Normal height. As mentioned above, there’s Extended mode when the vehicle detects it is high-centered, and it will automatically raise another 2” or so.

Thanks Gabriel. It’s been over 15 years since I played with LR’s and my memory is… um, what were we talking about?

Thanks guys. I had the wheel off for a few minutes test fitting another wheel and somehow the car had gone into monster truck mode on it's own. It stayed that way overnight and was easy enough to reset.
