It kinda depends on your budget, most of the real iconic off-road SUVs are luxury vehicles: Toyota 200 series Land Cruiser, Mercedes G-Wagon, Land Rover...

"Luxury Off-Roader" What a world we live in now. To me I guess any new SUV is pretty luxury because they all cost over $40k! When I upgraded from my 1986 Samurai to my $700 1994 Trooper, I thought that was pretty lux!

But seriously, if your goal is comfort first (leather interior, the latest widgets and gadgets, etc, etc) you probably should focus on Land/Range Rovers. Still capable off-road, but wont be out of place in the mall parking lot while your shopping at Tiffany's and Sak's.

$50k doesn’t get you much “Luxury“ in 2021.

While we're on the the subject of "luxury ", what constitutes "luxury " when off road or off roadING ? Not sure which is correct anymore.
Is it the leather seats or dial-a-terrain on the 28 speed transmission shifter?

I was going down the rabbit hill on the porsche cayenne and wanted to see what other builds like that are out there.

My brother just ordered one of these as part payment on a deal.
Sticker came out to $156,000. Looks pretty luxurious to me. Should be fun to drive too with twin turbo, 600 hp V-8.
