Nice little write up, sounds like a good recharge of the batteries. If it ever stops raining out here we are doing the same.

It is posts like this that provide a glimmer of light on very dark days. Thank you for putting forth the effort to capture your fun for others to enjoy.

Dave/Yosh – what a fun weekend, and as you say – close to home.

That pic of my ghost dog Pepper is trippy! Quite a few trippy things come to think of it, the deer, the bear, the dog entertainment, the tribute to Jack/Jim Friday night, swinging an axe when I shouldn’t have been near anything sharp (!), the late night visit by the FJC crew – and who knew you guys did tri-tip competitions? Yum. I had great time, thanks!

It was good to finally head out on dirt with you Linda. Thanks for making the trip and making the grade up to camp. You should get a trophy for that one :Wow1:

Great report! I'm always amazed at the number of options we have in SoCal for "remote" camping. We'll definitely be checking out the YP sites this summer/fall, thanks to your scouting trips. :camping:
