M416 questions

Hello All,

So I just bought a m416 trailer and have a few questions about the trailer.

1. Does anyone know the diameter of the hub, so I can see if I can find wheel adaptors?
2. For those of you who have swapped axles, what axles fit?
3. Does anyone know the difficulty "flipping" the leaf springs on top of the axle?
4. What size shocks fit before and/or after the flip?

Welcome to the club. US Wheel Adapters in Lubbock TX can make you the adapters, you just tell them what wheels are going on, TJ, JK etc. Shock replacements are Early CJ shocks, I kept mine stock height, so I can't comment on the axle flip although there are a number of forums with info on the flip or an axle swap. I kept all my running gear stock and installed a lid but took it off after a couple of years because of the way it restricted the use of the trailer. I added an aluminum rack this past year for my RTT. Enjoy working on it.

Southwest Trailer Parts sells axles and other parts you need to install, you just need to measure and decide how wide (stock or wider to fit your wheels). monroe 32207 shocks are cheap and fit, depends on your setup as to whether they will fit before and after the suspension flip.
