So today while I took a nap my wife restored a password to our modem that had previously given me fits. I go to use my computer to no avail. I reinstall the operating system and this time in doesn't work. THAT'S IT! I pack up the Mac and off to the Apple store in a rage. I tell them what is going on and that I want to exchange the computer. No problem because Apple service rocks and they send me on my way with a new PB. I get home and the new computer has the same issue and I cannot even look at it. My wife starts calling around and finds out that apparently one of the bugs in Leopard is that if your modem isn't new it really creates some issues. The tech walked us through updating the software on the modem and she is running like a champ. So I owe everyone that helped beers. I did admit that I was a few steps ahead of a caveman when it comes to computers. The upside is that apparently 4 days ago a new version of the PB was released and I have one now. All of you that helped and my wife rock, I am not worthy. :bowdown: :bowdown:
