:suning: Got a no frills question and it may be answered by guys that have had the "LOCK & ROLL" hitch for awhile !!

--Is there any plausible reason, to install a 1/4-28 ZIRC fitting in the "ROLL" plate ?????

--Wouild it compromise the strength (using 1/8 bleed hole) or is it even really necessary-

--The floor is open !!

The manufacturers recommendation is to squirt all moving parts with lithium grease to help with lubrication.

We asked about putting on special fittings and they said it was unnecessary.

Actually having lived with the original LnR (unplated) it doesn't take alot of lubing to keep it working properly.

And now for the hijack(!):
However the tongue wheel sleeve is another matter. That sucker, with its little thin plastic "bushing", gets dried out/cruddy fast...and then of course is reluctant to turn when jockeying the trailer around.

Martyn: Any hot tip here (other than spraying it with lube all the time)? Seems like a good application for a self-oiling bronze bushing...
