Company seems to be doing well. Seems to be a very popular package for domestic US use and dirt roading.

Note that there is also a sub-thread. These things seem to annoy some folks almost as much as an Earthroamer.

I just noticed a post on the yahoo Tiger owners' group. There are two 4x4 CX's for sale in the western US on craiglist.... one in NM, one in Ca..

2003 Tiger CX, extended cab $40,000:

Nope, I dunno anything specific about either one. IIRC, a '97 went for just over $20K on eBay a few days ago.

There is a Yahoo group for CX owners. I was sent the info. I don't know if Ironduff got it from the same source.

I really like the Tigers. They may not be worthy for extreme expedition travel but would suite me perfectly. The price is reasonable compared to other 4x4 RV's and most likely is suitable for most (maybe not most on this site ). If I traveled more I would def buy one.

AFAIK, Maineman, there's no way, but I'm no expert. Like I said, I got the info from a post on the yahoo Tiger owners' group. I guess someone else there is searching diligently for their idea of a 'just-right' Tiger, and posting their rejects. I just figured the listings might be of interest to some here.

If you google your subject followed by site:craigslist.org the search will check all craigslist entries. Example, a google search of "diesel rover site:craigslist.org" yielded the following add (among others).

Looks like the '98 CX in San Jose has been reduced in price and relisted... now $16,000.
