Mega Fridge/Freezer independent test and review

I posted this in another thread but thought you guys might be interested.

Australian 4wd Action Magazine conducted a review over the main 12v Fridge Manufacturers we get over here (including the popular Engel / ARB fridges). The testing was independent and carried out at the Australian Defence Industries facility in a National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) approved, climate-controlled chamber. The exact contents were put in each fridge and the cables replaced with identical ones for each.

Yea it is quite a big lineup of different fridges - I haven't been able to find any other big fridge reviews like this out there.

I guess the general conclusion is that most if not all of those fridges are excellent and it comes down to a personal preference of what you like and what you are using it for.

The Explorers look really nice and industrial !

Nice review. Thanks for posting. I have the Waeco CF80 but mine just has one single compartment with a divided wire basket. Hmm, I wonder if I can retrofit the two zone divider they talk about in the review? :ylsmoke:
