Hello and thanks for watching! The rear lift system is mechanically secured with two stuts (left and right), which need to be released before movements. Once released the up & down works with an electrical winch. The winch has a remote control. Let me know if this answers your question. Thanks, Martin

Hi Martin,

I didn't see the winch so was looking for a clue on the mechanics as how it worked. What is the capacity of the rear lift.

I assume this was European built?????

Yes, the truck was build and converted in Europe. The capacity is about 1,200lbs, for two spare tires, as installed plus a small motorcycle, 400lbs.

A winch is sometimes overrated. Well, at least in my opinion. For 24,000lbs you need not only a large winch, but you need something to hang the winch to. A tree would not be appropriate. Another truck would be the best. Therefore we do have ropes. A winch works with a car or van, very good. On the other, a winch can always be added. We do have a winch supplier in Europe, who supplies winches for that truck, where the middle part of the front bumper can be replace by the winch. The truck comes with sand boards and pneumatic lift system. Thank you.

Congrats on a very well thought out build. I see a Georgian flag on the truck - where I live. A question regarding head room in the bunks? I am a tad claustrophobic - does the top bunk have a sky-light? Is there storage for clothes at the end of each bunk? Bed size is?

Thanks!

Thank you very much and thanks for watching! The bunk bed has no sky light, since this area is packed with solar on the roof. The head end of each bed has a window. The other end has two storages each, with lights ones the door opens. Each bunk bed, lower and upper is queensize. Let me know if you have more questions. Thank you, Martin

Do you have any images of the small 'garage' storage space? Wondering how large the area is.
Please find some pictures of the the storage area as well as a general layout. The heights is 40cm (16"). If only one bed is needed in the lower sleeping area space can beconverted to storage. The layout was intended to fit up to 5 people.
