Hi Mike, I was curious with econoline being discontinued a few years a go and the duramax being a more reliable diesel the the 6.0 PSD, I was curious if you have though about or researched putting your coil kit under a chevy express van? I've searched but didn't come up with anything.

I don't have any plans to pursue Chevy vans. I believe Jeremy at Weldtec Designs has the best solution for the Chevy and see no reason to compete in that space. If I had a Chevy van, those are the parts I'd be saving my pennies for.

I guess this is a question for weldtec if they come in here, but do they have parts for a 4x4 conversion? On there website I see 2wd lifts and lifts for Quigley 4x4. But didnt see kits for a taking a 2wd and making a lifted 4x4.

A member on pirate did what you are asking of, Jolane is the member, but with this whole photobucket stuff you can't see the pics, I did however find them when I googled "Jolane Chevy Express" Thats one of the few solid axled expresses I can remember.

To my understanding, Weldtec almost has a kit to convert to 4x4. Per my discussion with Jeremy, you basically install their Coil-over Conversion Suspension lift kit and then install a transfer case, the CV joints, etc. to convert it to 4x4.

Basically, getting rid of the 2WD spindle that prevent you from putting an axle to the wheel.

I just think his website doesn't have enough information to clarify the big picture of the conversion.

I guess this is the key statement.

"This kit also includes the 3″ lower sub frame and knuckles required for 4×4 conversion."

Im assuming it has all the attachment points to hold a front diff in-order to make that possible.
