Mid size truck Campers

Does anyone know of mid size truck camper dealers in the south east that sells a shell model like the FWC fleet with AC or at least a place to put AC under ten grand. We only need a cool place to sleep for week end camping. Hard side or popup short or tall no matter. Tired of sleeping in a tent with no AC. We have a 2012 Nissan Frontier 6ft bed

The closest dealer is Mainline Overland, in PA. You will have a hard time finding anything in the southeast. If you're patient, you can try craigslist. I have seen some decent pop up truck campers in my local Atlanta craigslist from time to time, but they are few and far between. If you want something used, I would suggest checking the Denver, CO craigslist. There are lots more reasonable campers like that out there. You will have to drive to get it though.

You are going to have to rig up your own AC. Lots of folks use a portable AC, but almost none of these popups have AC, especially not to fit a Nissan Frontier. With you budget, you might do better to buy a used one and make it your own.

Try using SearchTempest (http://www.searchtempest.com) to search all of Craigslist within a radius that you define. It's a bit awkward, but it works.

Eureka !

Well the search is over, found and just drove up to Columbia Tenn. and ordered a new Eureka slide in hard side camper. Exactly what we were looking for and no canvas to worry about. A cool /warm dry place to sleep with room for a porta potty. What more could a man ask for.
