Might be the wrong place.... how do you store your batteries (AAA, AA etc)

I have a stockpile of these things but I need to store some in the vehicle when I go camping just in case. I'm changing most of my stuff over to rechargeable but having a standard battery flashlight just seems smart, and backup for radios ect. My concern is how to store them so they are good to go when I need them.

Fishing lure flat pack, similar to the above. With moveable dividers it works almost perfectly for AA and AAA batts and many other types.

They come in several sizes, same general thickness. walmart. $2-4

I use urine sample jars. They are the right height to hold bundles of AA and AAA batteries, and I can stash the jars in small compartments or throw a jar in my pack. And they are waterproof.

Those amazon ones are what I need. They hold up to 12 batteries (4, 8 or 12) so it will work perfect for my needs. Toss them in a little bag and good to go. Thanks

Pelican 1020 will hold 18 18650 rechargeables.
How about one that will hold (7) D (9) C (32) AAA or N cells (42) AA or cr123 Batteries all at the same time.

Also check the Pelican 1010 case.

This is one time I like Pelican cases as they don't take up too much room when they are this size. It is easier to find a small spot to stash the box.

For bulk storage at home I use the ammo boxes that shooters use to store reloaded ammo. For AAA I use the Case-Gard RSS-50 Rifle size and for AA I use the Case-Gard RMLD 50 size. I just brought a couple of each battery size to the local shooting supply shop and tried a few until I found which box fit the best. They're durable, hold 50 batteries each and don't allow the batteries to fall around or get messed up.

When I only need a few batteries or space is at a premium, Storacell makes the best battery holders.
