It seems very unlikely that it has a 3l diesel as it looks like an FG which had a 3.9l diesel. Also, since he claims it has a factory 4x4 drivetrain, lots of people will be interested in knowing what kind of lockers it has in the differentials. Such lockers have not been readily available to my knowledge.

BEWARE.. The seller who claims has owned the rig for 5 years knows absolutely nothing about the rig.. He finally got back to me, but when asking him simple questions he knew nothing. His last txt to me said... Oh sorry it has no lockers, I misunderstood my pilot friend who built it. He has no built specs nor does he know anything that was done to the rig.

Okay, we can all laugh at the uninformed seller - but the photos tell me that someone put a lot of time, effort, and money into this rig. Not saying it is for me or that I understand the rationale for everything (like the open rear on the box).

I've been lusting after an Earthcruiser for many years, but I'm facing the reality that I'll probably never have that kind of money for a rig like that, so this Fuso seems interesting to me.
What are all your thoughts on what it might take to make this truck into a livable vehicle? I do not have the skills to do such a conversion myself. What might such a conversion cost, and does anyone know a shop that might be able to help? Also, is anyone here who is mechanically inclined, possibly able to help me inspect this truck?

Not a hell of a lot of work if you just wanted to put a camper in to the bed.
I agree that it looks like someone put a lot of work into this truck and it actually could be a very nice truck, but you can't rely on the seller for good info on it. Something fishy is going on if he says he's owned it 5 yrs yet knows so little about it.
