Mixed and matched torsion axles?

I remember someone stating they had factory connections where they could order 7K torsion axles, with 3500# rubber inserts? Or in other words, a 7k axles sprung for a 3500#.

Does anyone know who this was, or where I could order a custom torsion axle like this?

Dexter axle can down rate them. My 3500 lb axles are set at 2200 lb. I am not sure how far down the 7k axle can go, give them a call.

Timbren can also put lower rated rubber in them, but I am not sure what axles they can do this to.
