Moab Draft RMP/EIS Comments

Haven't seen anything lately on here about this (original thread is Thread Link), but the comment period to the Moab Field Office for the Resource Management Plan is closing in a couple of weeks (11/30/07). This is a HUGE deal, particularly for OHV users since the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance seems to have some friendly ears at the BLM. Some of the proposals are very, very bad for motorized users and to people recreating in the area in general. Read and comment soon! Just 6 people read dhackney's original thread. Come on, land use issues might mean all those expensive rigs will just be taking up garage space when places to go are closed to OHV traffic.

Folks,
Tomorrow is the last day to comment on this. Please let the BLM know that we the public want this land to be available for our type of recreation. I live in the east and I have no resource like Moab. The closest public lands National Forests have basically closed any and all roads that are not passable by a Prius. Please send comments to the planning team about this.
