I installed a CCTV and actually caught some little punk inside my Army truck.
We came home late one saturday night (230-3am) from a friends to find some young kid wondering around in the parking
area. He asked me if i could get him some beer. I told him NO. We proceeded up to the apt when my girlfriend noticed
that my jeep marker lights were on. So i walked up to my jeep and noticed the drivers door was slightly ajar. I also noticed
that the turn signal lever was down in the ON position. I knew right then, that someone had been screwing around with the
jeep.
Meanwhile that same kid is still is wondering around in the same general area. I proceed to tell him if he or anyone of his friends
has messed with my jeep i will find out, "there's a camera and whoever did it is on video tape" i said. He nodded his head
and acted like he had nothing to do with it. He seemed really out of it and drunk or high. Seemed odd that this
kid is wondering around at this time of night alone and my jeep had been tampered with.
We proceed upstairs to head to bed.
I look at the video tape the next morning when i wake up. It is indeed the same kid. I have video of him goofing off inside ofthe jeep. Flipping all the switches, turning the headlights on, the turn signals are going.... its lit up like a christmas tree. How dumb can you be? Slamming the doors, making all sorts of noise. He even walked in front of the headlights! Obviously the kid is not in his right mind. At no point does it look like he's trying to steal it , but who knows. He probably just couldn't figure out how to start it (No keys). Anyways the steering wheel had a chain on it, so he would have just gone across the way and through the wall.

It never happened again.
I have to figure out a way to get the cruiser on CCTV.. it's too far away from our new place to run a line out there.
