Modified 1946/1950 Bantam TC-3 1/4 ton trailer for heavy duty use and overland travel. The civilian version of the famous trailer that served in World War II. Built not far from here in Butler, PA

Tough as Nails.. It's served me well on road and offroad for about 20,000 miles all over the United States, Canada and Mexico on my adventures. Still has the dirt on it from those trips as it's been sitting for about two years now.

Box is 4 feet wide by 6 feet long
Weights about 650 pounds
Payload is rated at 750 pounds but I've had close to 2,000 pounds in there without flinching so it's certainly underrated.

Good:
265/70/17 Goodyear Mud Terrains with good tread on Toyota Tacoma rims
Comes with two full size spares ( matching rims and tires)
Has a Kilby Max-Coupler multi-axis hitch connection
Extended tongue by 18 inches for stability
New 3,500 lb axle with Toyota or Jeep CJ pattern( few years old)
New suspension ( Jeep CJ2A suspension, few years old)
New shocks and mounts ( these never came with them)
floor has been replaced with 11 gauge steel
Turtleback roll cage with tire carrier, it mounts all kinds of Yakima/Thule accessories to it ( I had my Roof Top Tent mounted here)
removable tailgate
LED taillights
Tongue box
Hitch mount on rear to carry a Bike rack or Cargo Tray
Extended chains and wiring for safety
extended flares to cover tire tread and stay legal
wheel chocks and landing leg base included

Bad:
powdercoating and bedliner is coming off in spots... could use a paint job
several spots that have rusted through, not structural
Trailer plate light is fincky.... bad ground, easily fixed

Good/Bad: Tongue box has a lot of stickers from my travels.. can keep as is, peel off or buy the same box and replace it completely at harbor freight for about 60 bucks
asking $1700, open to reasonable offers

Serial number is 4445 which dates it to 1946 but is titled as a 1950 with NJ DMV... will come with registration and bill of sale
