Modified Alu-cab fridge slide

So ended up getting the ARB element fridge when it first became available because of it's short height and length which fit my space constraints on top of existing drawer system. Ended up modifying Alu-cab large fridge slide to mount the fridge to. Cut the slide tray in half and narrowed it to match the fridge. Cut the frame and narrowed and changed the mounting points to lower the overall height. This setup has been working flawless for almost a year now.

What are you using to fasten the cutting board to the fridge?

What are you using to fasten the cutting board to the fridge?

It just happens to fit the slot between the fridge body and slide base. I made a little rotating aluminum "latch" that holds the top edge under slight spring tension to the fridge body. It has stayed in place and doesn't rattle for almost a year now.

Nice idea, I was looking for a holder or something to place there, was debating cutting my slide but then I THougth I could strap my cook partner stove next to the fridge. Might put in a block of wood to get it clear of the fridge slide retention (part in an angle that allows us to tilt the slide). So I can get the fridge up high enough to clear it.
