Modifying a Garvin Industries Expedition Rack for JK (2007) to fit a TJ (2003)

I found a sweet deal on CL for a garvin expedition rack, its just for the wrong model jeep. From what I can tell, the dimensions are the same, just the shape of the mounting brackets. Does anyone have any experience putting the wrong rack on the right vehicle?

Im almost positive the jks are wider than the tjs, in either case. Buy the cl rack and some scrap steel practice welding then when your comfortable go to work making the rack fit on your tj, unless your actually building somthing from a blueprint all fabrication is is problem solving and imagination
