For clarification:

Is this just one (1) awning that someone is selling?

Or is TRDPARTS4U carrying and selling these for $259 ea.?

Jamie,

TRDPARTS4U stocks and sells these.

That happens to be my personal awning, these are the only pictures we have right now.

Very cool, I think I need one of those. Do you have any mounting instructions so I can see if I will be able to mount it on my trailer.

There are no instructions with it. You are own your own for the actual mounting to a roof rack or trailer. The awning does come with some L brackets and and the hardware to connect to the brackets.

I used the L brackets and some 90* brackets bolted to predrilled square tubing.

How does this price compare with ARB or Eezi-Awn?

Cheaper. However it's the same awning as the ARB , just re-badged.

The EEZI-AWN, HANNIBAL and FIAMMA are higher quality, but cost more.

These are great entry level awnings IMHO. Not trying to knock the product at all.

The 2 ARB awnings are 8' & 4'.

We also sell the ARB awnings.

ARB108US 8' $291.00 + SHIPPING
ARB110US 4' $266.00 + SHIPPING

Yes these all come from the same factory.

That awning looks great on the trailer! Good job combining it with the awning on the tent.

FWIW- Those L brackets will bend quickly, especially bouncing along on a trailer. BTDT. An easy fix is to either extend the square tubing and attach the awning directly to it or weld some triangle-shaped pieces to the L brackets for reinforcement.

The L brackets or the 90* brackets? I know the 90* brackets are weak I bent them already:eek: The L brackets from Mombasa are 3/16 and should be fine... I have another set of those on the way.

I was going to weld a solid bracket to the tubing, but wanted to be able to move the awning around if needed.

So for 35 bucks you get another 1.5 feet? Sounds like the best bang for the buck if you can fit it. (the ARB 8')

That's not how I'm reading that.

Sounds like either awning will run an additonal $35-$45 over purchase price, to ship.
