F 700 Overland/ Expedition Veh? - $16000 (Broomfield, Colorado)
(NOT MINE...CL REPOST FOR YOU)
(But...Hey, can I maybe get a “like” for my efforts here? I’m trying to break 200.)
1995 Ford F700, 4x4, 5spd, 7.0L/429c.i., Throttle body injection system ~ 25,000 mi.!! Hydraulic brakes w/ electric assist parking brake. Front Disc, Rear drum. Brakes and tires all in very good condition, ready for snow etc.. It even has a set of snow/ tire chains !
It has a PTO output shaft attachment point at the transfer case as well.
Excellent candidate for the making of an Overland / Global Expedition type vehicle !
This truck has been, was only used by the U.S. Forest Service for the watering of roadways, fireline creation etc., and has not been 'off roaded' or 'thrashed' ! Very clean, straight, good vehicle/ truck !
Currently still has the water holding tank ~ 1200 gal. Aprox. 8' x 14' x 1.5' It obviously could be removed, or left in place and future holding tanks, sliding tool and accessory compartments cut into it and eliminate installation and insulation of such below the existing tank level/ elevation. The water tank is a very high quality, well manufactured unit in it's own right ! Very solid 'headache rack' structurally welded in place also - could be left in place and incorporated into a / the cabover camper /motor/mobile /expedition hom
