Looks like you guys had a good day. Ain't nothing much better than spending the day hunting with dogs, though my experiences were of beagles and blue ticks.

Good looking dogs! I've owned setters my whole life (currently have a spoiled Llewellin) and truly enjoy the breed.

Nice. I hunted with a Gordon for a couple of years and I miss her very much. Setters are about as sweet as you can get.

Sounds like a great time!:REOutShootinghunter I have hunted north eastern MT the last 2 years with my little GSP. Only thing is, it can get really cold really fast when you are just a few miles south of Canada. At least it did last year. Still great time though.

I hope to get out after Thanksgiving...maybe KS for pheasants, prairie chickens and quail (Bobs and Blues).
