Montero Mechanic in Chicago

While as much as I prefer to be a DIY kind of guy when it comes to repairing a few things on my rig, my currently living situation forbids me from doing so. Does anyone have suggestions or recomendations of where to go for anything above and beyond an oil change for my Gen 3 Montero here in the Chicagoland area?

There's a local shop near me that has 7 bays with lifts and rents out each bay in 30 minute increments. Each bay has a fully stocked tool box with everything you need. An oil change can probably be done during that 30 minute segment. Check to see if Chicago has something like that. It's called a DIY garage. The one near me charges $15 for a 30 minute slot.

There is one of these type places in Milwaukee as well. Never used it, only heard advertisements on the radio.

Thanks for the heads up. I will keep this in mind for the more expensive and easy DIY repairs. Lately I have been taking advantage of the Firestone Auto coupons for oil changes at $19.99 for Quaker State oil.
