Do any of you have the Safari Snorkel template for the 2nd gen laying around? Would pay for the shipping (back and forth) to use it!

From what I understand the fiberglass ones are exact replicas of the Safari Snorkel. Would you mind posting a pic of it so I can compare?

I haven't physically gotten the snorkel yet, but should have it tomorrow.

sure thing, as soon as I get to work I'll snap a pics. it exactly fit the fender and the snorkel but I have the fiberglass "Safari" snorkel...

Ohhh that's weird! The template for my old 4runner was merely paper!!! This actually makes sense!

easily tapes on with some wide blue masking tape then drill through the holes...

In addition to the snorkel, what is the fiberglass template for ?

The template's sole purpose is to help you properly mount the snorkel in the correct position.

Of course you can recycle it creatively as a paper weight, necklace pendant, wall art, etc. :elkgrin:

Wish I had that when I was installing my snorkel. I had to wing it on mine. Took me forever to drill the right holes for the best fitment.

94Monster, I haven't heard from you in a while nor have I seen the template! Were you able to help out? Like I said, I'd gladly pay shipping both ways. And you'll get it back the same week!
