A good friend runs a local bike shop here in the Park City Utah area. In the last half year or so I've been helping him grow the business considerably including custom sales online. Largely also to help me feed my own addiction :) I've actually already sold three high end bikes for him in the last month alone, works out pretty well as most interstate bike commerce involves no sales tax and because we are not a big shop we don't need massive profit margins so you actually save considerably usually despite shipping costs. It also usually costs less than $40 to ship an entire bike or a high end bike frame...

He has accounts for most major component suppliers so chances are what you need we will either have in stock or get shortly. This includes:

  • High end comonents like: Chris King (headsets, hubs), Hope, Cane Creek, Avid, Hayes, Thomson, etc...
  • Most wheel manufacturers including odd and custom highend like NoTubes but the big suppliers like DT Swiss and Mavic.
  • All fork suppliers like Fox, RockShox, Manitou, White Brothers, etc...
  • High end hand-made frame makers like Turner and Ventana (these are probably in the top 5 of manufacturers in the country, IMO -- we are authorized dealer for both).
  • All major parts groups (derailleurs, cranks, etc) like RaceFace, Shimano, SRAM/Avid etc.
  • We have significant 29er experience and I actually have credit for 3 White Brothers 29er forks for anyone interested, these we would sell at a deal you probably couldn't beat nationwide... :)
  • And you name it, just ask and we can probably get it. The only place we are not set up is typical large local bike shop suppliers, for example getting you a Trek or Specialized, which we would recommend you go local anyway...

We'd be happy to cut Expo members in particular some pretty good deals and friend discounts of course... Feel free to PM me or email with any questions. Our shop is www.UintaBicycles.com

Our goal and also how we do things is also spectacular 110% customer service :)

Cheers, Andre

I have a question for you. I am building a Single Speed up and need a front shock that fits. can I just trade out the crown? I can show pics if needed but if I can I might have an order!

Depends on what kind of fork you are looking for but for the most part you can't switch the crown of fork components, it is best to switch out the entire fork... Are you looking for a suspension fork or a rigid non suspension fork?

Seriously. I just blew the road bike budget for the year, but I really need a new fork and drivetrain for my mtb until I have the $$ for a dual squishy. Probably also need some road components to hang on the Synapse. :bike_rider:

funrover you can have a steer tube pressed in, whatever fork you have that manufacturer can provide whatever steerer you need, even old school 1" threaded.

dre i replied to the mud thread also,,,, just a lucky friend you have to own/run/work a small town feel custom shop, i'd love it.

Hey Andre,

That's a generous offer. Mind PMing me with a quote for (1) SRAM X.9 front derailleur; (1) SRAM X.9 rear derailleur; and (1) pair of SRAM X.9 triggers? Time to start getting in shape for the warm weather climbs, so these will all be going on my trusty '01 Moab Disc hardtail.

Thanks in advance!
