Great Snowshoes

Hello Nathanael:

I'd just like to let anyone who's interested know that these are great snowshoes. I have a pair of 30" Lightning Ascents that I use for climbing. The design is perfect for climbing - the shoes bite like crampons. You don't have to sweat a little walking across rock because the deck material doesn't wrap around the frame as is common in most shoes. That keeps the decks from hitting rock & lets you move across open patches quickly.

The bindings are quick to get into and out of, so I find it easy to release the bindings when I'm not moving and that keeps my feet warm.

Somebody buy these things so I don't end up with two pair!
