Sold my Virago 250 and picked this up on Friday.

Yes its the one from the magazine.

Rode it ~300 miles this weekend and I love it.

It still needs the doo done but other than that it is pretty much set as far as I'm concerned.

Sounds like you got a bike that is going to give you lots of fun times. Now, to plan for those trips. I am still getting to know my KLR and am liking it more and more each day that I ride it.
