My mini GPS solution

So, I got one of these before my recent month in Israel:

I'm going to get this from Amazon:

Add RoadNav or GPSdrive and I should have a 2lb, ultra portable GPS solution that still have full computer functionality as well for surfing, email, etc...from wifi hotspots.

Whaddya think?

I been thinking about that for a while, have you used prefetched google maps?

Nope, RoadNav is an open source GPS mapping program that gets maps from the a variety of sources, then connects to the USB GPS puck for readings...

The Asus runs a modified version of Xandros Linux, so I have several open source options for software, I'm going to try RoadNav first, as soon as the puck gets here...Will let you know how it works!
