My trailer build

Well I’ve finally started the build, though I designed it from scratch I later found the Pacmule trailer's, which is pretty much what my build is but out of steel.

The main frame is 2"x2"x3/16" box tube, everything else is 1"x2"x3/16" but the lid which will be 1"x2"x1/8". The reason for the small but thick steel? it's free. yeah, free! long story but we have lots.

Leaf springs from a 79 toyota pickup out of the junkyard, air bags from ebay
I will put a 3,500 lbs axel with brakes under it and spray the whole thing with UPOL Raptor bedliner.

Here's the pic's from Day 1.

Nice start......

I think with all that surplus steel, you should go ahead and build a second trailer and give it to me.......:bike_rider:

Yeah... free steel is awesome. I could do a lot with that pile you got there! So, with airbags and springs, are you just using the main leaf to keep the axle lined up, and the airbags for weight support or??

Looking good...
