I bought an '87 Astro for $1500 from my father-in-law in about 1995, dropped in a crate 4.3, drove the wheels off of it for work for 10 years, and sold it for $1900 last year. Very hard to beat! That little 4.3 purred like a kitten - I still love the sound of that engine.

Wow! Aliarc's site doesn't list anything for the Astro/Safari. Is it a discontinued model, or is it adapted from another vehicle??

I searched AliArc's website as soon as I saw it posted for sale and found nothing. I sent them an email some time ago, but never received a reply. Once I can get the van somewhere somewhat warm and dry I be searching for part/serial numbers.
